I read the story of your husband Victor and want to give you my heartfelt condolences. You are a wonderful woman Shirley. You showed great strenght to stand by your man when the going became real tough. I could tell how much you cared for this man and what a compassionate soul you were.

Read your story today on VR.com, and then took the link Ross provided and read some of the old post from 2004. I wanted to tell you how very sorry I am that things turned out this way. I know Victor is at peace, and I pray you find it for yourself now.

Dear Shirley
it was with a heavy heart that I read today in VR of Victor's passing. You must be very lonely for him; we all know how much you loved him. With time (doesn't everyone say that) you will feel better and it is true. I lost my very dear Joe and I found that it really is so but it took time. I wish you all the very best for all of your life.

I am so sorry for your loss.
I know this is a difficult time for you all, I can only pray
that the pain is eased by some comforting thoughts.
Victor is at perfect peace now. He is in a place where there
will be no more dieing. No more sadness, or pain, no worries no tears. He is at peace.

May I say how sorry I am to hear of anyone. dear to people I know, passing away. I never met Victor, personally, but I got to know of his condition through Shirley. I realize how much he meant to her through her correspondence with me and that showed me what a compassionate soul Shirley has.
